Olivia, 11

Now a seventh grader, Olivia already has plans for a bright future in the visual arts. The Louisiana-native hopes to study interior design in Italy before launching a career in the creative field.

"Her self-confidence is strong right now," says her mom, who traveled with Olivia from New Orleans for the photo session. “We wanted to capture this moment in time before the teen years hit. Her power radiates in her portraits.”

On the day of her photo shoot, Olivia leaned on advice from her teacher, Mrs. D., who encourages students to “feel the fear and do it anyway.” As soon as the studio lights stopped flashing, Olivia was ready to book a future session.

“Josh’s photography style is striking,” adds her mom. “When she looks at the images displayed on our walls, she immediately holds her head higher. It’s amazing to see.”
